Healthy Families Lab has emerged out of a recognised need to tackle the food system in Auckland and involved supporting Auckland based Healthy Families NZ programmes to effectively integrate design thinking, co-design processes and prototyping into their organisational and operational culture and practice. Resilio Studio worked with Healthy Families NZ staff and project partners to build an innovation lab, provide hands-on professional development to prototype and help develop structures which enable practical experimentation and ‘safe to fail’ learning environments for addressing some of Auckland’s complex health challenges. Three prototypes were run during the lab attempting to positively impact food related health issues at the local level. See our media page for more details about one of those prototypes, the Rānui Power Pack.
