Resilio Studio were engaged by Tauranga City Council to lead the design, iwi and community engagement, documentation and construction observation of Kulim Park, Tauranga. Kulim park is a very popular coastal reserve on the Otumoetai peninsula and forms part of an open space and shared path network interfacing with the coastal edge of the Tauranga Harbour. Early engagement with project partners including local iwi and the local community has developed significant buy-in from the local community. The concept design is currently underway with next phases of consultation beginning in April. Construction for the project is programmed to start June 2018.
